We are looking for “insider” information written by experts in their field who
can provide a fresh slant on topics. Authors must have a platform for selling
their work and see themselves as true partners in the marketing process. We are
currently NOT seeking memoirs, personal-illness narratives, and animal-related
topics. We do not publish children’s books, fiction, or novelty (gift) books.
While we prefer to review a finished manuscript, we will accept proposals that
contain sample chapters. All submissions should include:
-
A one-page synopsis of the project comprised of:
-
Description of the book
-
Definition of the target audience
-
Statement of why you are uniquely qualified to write this book
-
Table of contents or an outline of the structure of the book
-
One or two sample chapters or a manuscript (double spaced)
-
Biographical sketch or resume
